Exterior Cladding Home
Andrew Moorhead, of Moorhead Design, designed this unique home on a difficult rear site. The client was after a standout home, and Andrew decided to design the darker exterior PlyClad look. Although painting the PlyClad with dark colours with a light reflectance value (LRV) of below 40% is not recommended, with appropriate maintenance, the product to this date has performed well. Aaron Dodd builders who constructed the home, insured the product was stained on both sides before installation, and glued and screwed the battens on appropriately.
